Michael is MyHydro's Chief Executive Officer. He has two decades of emerging markets experience developing sustainable natural resource projects, including 15 years in the hydropower sector on both the project development and impact mitigation sides of the business. Seven of these years were spent leading international business development for Natel Energy, MyHydro’s technical partner.
Michael has also served as a Foreign Service Officer at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and as a Special Assistant to the President of Myanmar (Burma) under the auspices of a Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship. He holds a master's degree in international development policy from Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy, where his research focused principally on sustainable hydropower and source watershed conservation and restoration.
